The formula

How the aggregate is calculated

UI aggregate: Aggregate = (UTME ÷ 8) + (Post UTME ÷ 2), over 100. UI's screening is scored over 100, then halved, so a 280 UTME (35) with a 60 screening (30) lands 65.

Departmental merit lists are drawn strictly from this aggregate, highest first, and O'level eligibility is checked before ranking.

UI republishes exact modalities yearly — the portal is final.
