What the Classroom is
Practice hands you questions to answer. The Classroom hands you the material to learn from before you answer them · written notes, video lessons and files, filed under one subject of one examination, exactly the way the past questions are filed. A WAEC Biology note is not shown inside NECO Biology to make a shelf look fuller.
Notes and files are written and uploaded by the LockInPoint tutors. The video lessons are their picks, played inside the site rather than on YouTube. Every note and every file carries a published switch · turning it off takes it off the shelf without deleting it, so a note being rewritten does not sit half-finished in front of students.
The three shelves, and what each one asks for
Notes · log in, then activate
A note opens in a reader you can set to light, sepia or dark, in one of three typefaces, at any size from 13px to 24px. Your own name is repeated across the page behind the text, and the foot of every note says plainly that sharing screenshots of tutor notes is traceable to your account.
Videos · log in
Lessons play on a LockInPoint page rather than sending you out to YouTube, so you do not lose the subject you were in. A video only asks you to be signed in · it is the one shelf that does not wait for activation.
Files · log in, then activate
PDFs, slides and textbooks are streamed through LockInPoint itself · the storage bucket is never handed to your browser and nothing is cached, so there is no link to pass on. Every page of a PDF is stamped with your name diagonally, server-side, before the file reaches you, and the foot of each page carries your name again with a line saying that sharing is traceable to this account. Slides and Word documents cannot carry a stamp, so they come through the same gate unmarked.
Choosing an examination and a subject above is open to anyone. Opening the material is not · the Classroom sends you to the log in page first, and a note or a file then asks for an activated account before it opens.
