GCE · pick your board

GCE runs through more than one examining board, and each one sets its own paper. Choose yours · everything inside belongs to that board alone.

WAEC GCE

WAEC GCE — private candidates (First Series Jan/Feb · Second Series Nov/Dec)

NECO GCE

NECO GCE — external candidates (Nov/Dec series)

Sitting GCE privately

GCE is the sitting for a candidate no school enters. You register yourself, pay for it yourself and choose your own subjects — to add a subject you never offered, to replace a grade you are not happy with, or to write the whole set outside the school system.

WAEC GCE runs two sittings a year

First Series · Jan/FebSecond Series · Nov/Dec

NECO GCE runs one sitting a year

Nov/Dec Series

Registration windows, fees and centres belong to the board, not to us · confirm them on the board’s own portal for the cycle you are entering.

A GCE bank is kept apart from the May/June bank

Picking a GCE door serves that GCE examination’s questions and nothing else — a WAEC GCE sitting never draws a plain WAEC paper, and the years and subjects behind the door are the GCE board’s own.

Inside a board, the sitting chips narrow it further, and All sittings is the default rather than a wall. A bank whose questions do not carry a series yet still shows everything it holds instead of looking empty.

A board appears above only when it has a published GCE examination of its own.
